If you want to be an athlete, you have to train like an athlete.

Training like an athlete means that you have to be balanced. Being able to deadlift a massive amount of weight while struggling with a 1 mile run won't benefit many athletes. Athletes are well-rounded with specificity to their sport.

Here are some tests and assessments we apply to find your strengths and weaknesses:

  • Body composition (weight, fat percentage)
  • Movement compensation screen
    • Overhead squat
    • Single leg squat
    • Drop jump landing mechanisms
    • ROM testing
  • Strength tests (i.e. squat, bench, pull up)
  • Power tests (i.e. vertical)
  • Acceleration and max velocity test
  • Conditioning/energy systems evaluation

All of these tests will be used to help improve your athletic capability for your specific sport.
